Madrid, Spain, November 7th, 2018 – Multi Pilot Simulations (MPS) has been contracted by Norwegian, to deliver an MPS B737 NG FTD-2, which will be installed in the Flight Training Center at Gatwick Airport in the UK.
MPS CEO Capt. Philip Adrian: “We are excited that Norwegian, one of the largest airlines in Europe, has chosen the highest level Fixed Base Simulator from MPS for their training. We are again expanding our customer base of airlines with this highly regarded carrier, which is another confirmation that the MPS Fixed Base Devices are the right tool for airlines and training organizations.”
Norwegian Head Of Training, Stig Larsen: “With more than 130 Boeing 737s in operation across the five AOCs in the Group Norwegian, we are thrilled to take the delivery of an MPS FTD-2, among the other ‘Blended Learning Programs’. This not only in order to offload the Full Flight Simulators and reduce the cost, but not least to restructure and tailor the various training programs. Being able to make use of different training equipment and fidelity, the FTD-2 fits the future needs of the Norwegian Training Academy and will be integral part of the crew training innovation.
