MPS has been awarded a contract by Leading Edge Aviation (LEAL) for the supply of an A320 FTD. The simulator is expected to be delivered this year and will be installed in LEAL’s state of the art training center at London Oxford Airport in the United Kingdom. Despite the many difficulties COVID-19 has presented the professional flight training industry, this order is a clear commitment from Leading Edge to incoming flight students and to the future of aviation.
Students at LEAL will not only benefit from cutting edge MPS technology but also from extra implemented safety measures including the reduction or elimination of re-circulated air inside the simulator.
The device will be used in LEAL’s airline preparation course as well as its modular commercial pilot training course and will continue to support a blended learning approach that is much needed for the new generation of pilots, especially in a post COVID-19 world.
