MPS has been awarded a contract by Jet2.com (Jet2) for a B737-800 NG EASA Level 2. The simulator is expected to be installed at one of Jet2’s training centers in the UK later this year. This is Jet2’s third MPS device and will serve to support the company in increasing its training capacity for its growing fleet.
“MPS is excited to support Jet2.com’s expansion plans by providing a third FTD,” said MPS Chief Executive Officer Philip Adrian, “This device will provide additional simulator capacity for their growing fleet and allow Jet2.com to continue to deliver high-quality training to their pilots.”
In the last several months, Jet2 has announced both major expansions to its routes for winter and summer travel. This includes flights to several new and existing holiday destinations after strong demand and increased bookings from its customers. Its sister company, Jet2holidays, specialises in the provision of package holidays and is the UK’s largest tour operator.
