Dear reader,

Welcome to the MPS blog page, I am glad you are here! This is the first post of many yet to come. Let me begin with an introduction of myself and my company;

My name is Captain Philip Adrian and I am the CEO of MPS. I joined MPS, formerly known as Multi Pilot Simulations, in May last year after having spent 11 years in many flying and (assistant) chief pilot positions at Boeing in Seattle. Before that, I was a captain, instructor and examiner at a KLM-group airline. I also served in several management positions, amongst which was head of training. My flying career started in 1987, 32 years ago, in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. For more information about who I am please check out my LinkedIn profile.

MPS is a leading professional fixed base training device manufacturer. Given my background, joining the MPS team provided me with the opportunity to support airlines and professional training organizations with high quality, affordable training devices. I truly believe these devices are the future of aviation training. I lead a team of highly capable and qualified individuals who allow my vision of a safer aviation industry to come to life. What sets MPS apart are those individuals and the passion they have for training, innovation, quality and customer support.

MPS produces Airbus A320 ceo/neo and Boeing 737 NG/MAX fixed base devices, qualified to the highest levels with FAA, EASA and other regulatory agencies worldwide. With a large installed base including airlines, universities and large as well as small ATO’s as our customers, we cover the professional training world from MPL to (APS) MCC, Type Rating and Operational Training. Our devices can best be described as non-motion full flight simulators.

In the next couple of months, I will post a new blog every week. As part of this, I will attempt to educate and inform you about the world of aviation, and more specifically, training. You can expect me to address items such as the global aviation training world, innovation needs, certification and operational issues and regulatory updates from the many efforts I am involved with. Blogs will mostly come from me but you will also see blog post contributions from my team and my network connections, hopefully providing you with a broad insight.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please use the subscribe button at the bottom right of this page and expect to start a conversation on how we can work together to make training better, more affordable and available. I invite you to leave any remarks and or questions you have in the comment section below.

Together we can make a difference and revolutionize the training world!

Philip
