Dick Verburg Decorated as ‘Knight’ of the Order of Orange-Nassau

Dick Verburg, founder of EPST, including its COMPASS selection tool and co-founder, CEO and President of MPS, was appointed as Knight (‘Ridder) of the Order of Orange-Nassau by His Majesty the King of The Netherlands. The royal decoration was presented by mayor Bolsius of Amersfoort, Dick Verburg’s city of residence.
Dick Verburg receives the royal decoration because of his outstanding contribution to the improvement of aviation training and safety and his internationally acknowledged expertise. He is recognized as an authority in the international aviation world. Furthermore, he was honoured because of his pioneering work and remarkable entrepeneurship.
MPS’ President and founder Dick Verburg: “I am very honoured to receive this decoration. It took me completely by surprise. I would like to stress that this decoration was only possible because of the team effort with the employees of the company’s founded by me”.
MPS develops, manufactures and sells fixed-base, type-specific Boeing 737-NG, B737-MAX or Airbus A320, A320-NEO flight training simulators to flight training institutes, type-rating organizations and airlines, worldwide. MPS was incorporated in 2007 by Dick Verburg, previously the founder of European Pilot Training & Selection (‘EPST’).
